Hesther (London, 1980) has worked in the music and media industry over the past decade and is known for her out-of-the-box creative & strategic positioning of (media)brands.
During her role as Communications Manager at Discovery Networks, Discovery Channel was awarded the number one TV brand in 2010 and 2011. In addition, the company won the prestigious Annual Masters of Media Award (AMMA) for best media company in the same year.
She gained a media value of almost 40 mio euro for Discovery Networks in 2011 and launched TV channels TLC and Investigation Discovery in the Netherlands and Discovery Channel in Belgium. Prior to Discovery, Hesther was responsible for the communications during Endemol’s IPO in 2005 and part of the communications team of Endemol’s controversial ‘Grote Donor Show’ for BNN (2007) that was commented on by journalists all over the world.
Hesther inspires individuals to find their spark and spread their story. She is a strong believer of the ‘If it sets your heart on fire it’s a story worth spreading’- philosophy. Her valuable (international) network of opinion leaders and media contacts in combination with her creative & strategic communications experience over the past years make that she can launch any brand, band, person or rockstar.
